Neighborhood Networks

United Way of Pierce County (UWPC) will invest in high-quality neighborhood collaborations for up to three years (ongoing investments are contingent upon established criteria and results). Investments will be tied to specific outcomes that meet the needs identified by neighborhoods represented, while also advancing United Way's goal of lifting 15,000 households out of poverty by 2028.

These three-year investments (1 year, renewable up to 3 years) are designed to support neighborhood collaborations in developing and supporting a stronger network of community partners and residents leading the way in reducing poverty and increasing stability for individuals and families within United Way's target communities of:

  • Springbrook/Woodbrook/Tillicum
  • South/SE Tacoma
  • Key Peninsula

This process will open Monday, July 8, 2019 with an application deadline of Friday, August 30, 2019 by 5:00 p.m. via the online portal. There will NOT be any information sessions for this process. If you are working with a collaborative group within one of the target neighborhoods, please reach out to UWPC Impact staff. This process will be by invitation only.

Additional information will be available by June 17, 2019
