Back to School
Nearly 40% of Pierce County families are struggling to meet their basic needs each month. The added expense of sending children back to school can be a source of stress on top of covering increasingly high food, gas, and housing costs. Imagine having to choose between school supplies or food.
There are ways you can help support struggling families and make sure kids start the year with the tools they need!
FEATURED Do-It-Yourself (DIY) PROJECT: DIY Back to School
You can help families in need by hosting a DIY Back to School project! Hold a school supply drive and then assemble packs complete with all the basic supplies a student will need, or provide a monetary donation with 100% of proceeds going to help students. Once your project is complete, please email us for more details about drop-off and pick-up options.
