Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Month of Service 2026
United Way of Pierce County fights for every person in every community every day. We believe that every person is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect – equal treatment and access to justice, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes United Way a stronger organization. Every January, we come together to honor Dr. King’s legacy and harness the volunteer spirit to improve the conditions in our communities and hope to inspire acts of kindness, empathy and understanding.
