AmeriCorps Seniors Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) operated by Lutheran Community Services is looking for volunteers age 55 or better to support our community partners in assisting vulnerable populations. Are you ready to be of service?

LCSNW holds the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP  grant and serves Pierce County through health, justice, and hope. We attract volunteers like yourself who are 55 or over and who want to make a difference our Pierce County community.

* Help a struggling child learn to read.

* Aid in providing food for families.

* Provide companionship to someone who is lonely or isolated.

* Assist hospital staff in caring for others.

* Bring joy through gift-giving.

* Help someone furnish their first home.

* Aid in bringing the history of Tacoma to life.

* Serve healthy and inexpensive lunches in a congregate meal site setting.
