In memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, we invite you to observe MLK Day as a “day on, not a day off” by improving your Tacoma community and helping to improve its vital natural areas. We will be out at Gog Le Hi Te, one of the Port of Tacoma’s wetland restoration projects, planting native trees and shrubs. This will improve the natural habitat and ecological functions of this ecologically important site that will benefit the greater Tacoma community.
Everyone can help! All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. We provide all of the tools and training needed. So bring along your friends and family and get your hands dirty!
