In response to COVID-19, Medical Teams International has shifted normal operations to focus on two key objectives:
- Partner with community health agencies to provide emergency dental drop-in clinics.
- Use of our mobile clinic vehicles as "support" centers for our partner sites as they conduct drive-thru COVID-19 testing.
With these two objectives in mind, we are in need of volunteers to help support our first focus - that of providing emergency dental drop-in clinics.
- We need volunteer dental professionals to provide and support emergency care at each of our clinics. These can be Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, or Dental Students.
As of now, the clinics in Pierce County occur at the following day and time:
These clinics are located at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood and are from 9 am until 3 pm.
