Your Money Matters Mentoring in partnership with Metropolitan Development Council presents the Financial Literacy Youth Summit, hosted at TCC on Saturday, May 13th. This all day event will serve as a venue for youth ages 15-25 to become financially literate, learn how to budget and manage their finances, and build connections for the future.
This event includes an afternoon tabling session, led by volunteers, offering a series of scenarios and tasks for attendees to complete. These include how to navigate purchasing a vehicle, managing credit, and related financial topics. Two volunteers will staff each table with 20 tables in total. This volunteer opportunity provides for the education and financial literacy of youth in Tacoma and adjacent communities.
