Description

Our 8-acre organic farm, located outside of Puyallup, provides over 100,000 pounds of fresh vegetables and fruits each year to local food pantries. It would not be possible to provide this fresh food option to people in need without help from volunteers. From April 28th to through the end of September, volunteer dates are available on Fridays and Saturdays with two sessions to choose from: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm or 12:30 – 3:30 pm. In the spring, volunteers at the farm assist with seeding, weeding, and irrigation. In the summer and fall, the focus is on weeding and harvesting.
It doesn't matter if you are an avid gardener or this is your first time working with plants. Our awesome staff will be on hand to with gloves, tools and everything you need to get started.

In winter, there is one volunteer day per month. See the "Winter Weeding" posting for more information.

Minimum Age: There is not a minimum age so youth groups and families of all ages are welcome! Youth ages 15 and under need to volunteer with a parent or guardian. All youth under the age of 17 will need to bring a signed Parental Consent Form.

Registration

Due to safety reasons and limited capacity at the farm, we ask volunteers to not drop-in.
