Come out to the Nisqually Land Trust's Hogum Bay protected area for a morning of blackberry control!
This 40-acre protected area preserves a coastal lagoon, the adjacent nearshore habitat, and the surrounding upland forest. Intact coastal lagoons are rare in the Puget Sound region but important for juvenile salmon. We will be working in the upland portion of the property to remove invasive blackberry and make space for native vegetation.
