Weed Control at Yelm Shoreline!

Description

Join us at the Nisqually Land Trust's Yelm Shoreline protected area for a morning of controlling invasive blackberry and Scotch broom!

This reach of the Nisqually River provides habitat for steelhead trout and Nisqually salmon. The surrounding forest improves the river's water quality and habitat integrity. To restore this forest and help the species that depend on it, we will remove these invasive plants, allowing native plants to grow and thrive.

Interested? Contact volunteer coordinator Addie Schlussel at volunteer@nisquallylandtrust.org, or RSVP by clicking here.

For a full list of upcoming events, see our calendar.

Thanks, and we hope to see you there!
