Come out to our Mashel River Protected Area for a morning of controlling invasive blackberry! We'll be working at the historic Van Eaton homestead, where engineered log jams were recently installed to enhance salmon habitat along the Mashel. This past winter, we planted over three acres here with native trees and shrubs, but these plants are being threatened by fast-growing blackberry. Join us in saving our baby trees!
