Volunteer: Teach students networking skills in a mock networking mixer

Washington Business Week (WBW) teaches students professional, leadership, and finance skills over the course of week-long intensive educational programs where students are put in real world situations and given the opportunity to perform.

Over the week, students meet professionals from all industries and hear their stories. Our networking evening is one of the best ways for students to connect with people from careers they might want to work, while also learning how to network in professional settings.

In this two-hour after work mock networking event, we'll serve you and the students mocktails (or at least lemonade) as you chat with students in a casual setting. In the first hour you'll network with students and the second hour is for professional networking with the other volunteers.
