2. Participate in a charity walk, fun run or race
Many organizations take advantage of warmer weather by hosting fundraising walks and fun runs. And if you don’t consider yourself a runner, there are plenty of fun, low-key walks and runs to participate. Find a race in your area or search for events by cause.

3. Sign up as a dog walker or adoption volunteer at a local animal shelter
Volunteering at an animal shelter is an awesome experience — all the fun of having a furry friend, with a lot less responsibility! Shelters need help with all sorts of tasks, from walking dogs to socializing rescued animals to helping at adoption events, and more.
