What We Do

We provide grants and support to programs that align with our Five Pillars of Caring: 1). Love & Belonging: Supporting initiatives that offer consistent mentorship and a sense of community to foster youth. 2). Basic Human Needs: Funding programs that provide essentials like food, shelter, and clothing. 3). Education: Backing educational initiatives, including scholarships and tutoring, to help youth succeed academically. 4). Community Support: Assisting services that help youth overcome challenges such as trauma or substance use. 5). Enrichment: Supporting programs that engage children in activities like music, theater, sports, and art. In 2024, we awarded grants to 27 organizations across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, including the Carl Maxey Center and the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, to support programs ranging from youth leadership to arts enrichment . Our news platform, https://believeinme.news, shares stories of impact, volunteer highlights, and insights into the challenges faced by marginalized youth.
