New Year, New Commitment to Give Back

Did you resolve to give back to your community, get outdoors more, or be more active in 2017? We have the program for you! Pitch in for Parks, Pierce County Parks & Recreation’s drop in volunteer program, is already back at it this year. Join us on Saturday, January 21, from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, at Parkland Prairie (located at the corner of Tule Lake Road South & Yakima Avenue South in Tacoma) and jump start your resolutions. We'll be planting trees and shrubs as we continue to beautify the location and restore the native prairieland. Be sure to dress for the weather and working outside.
