Come join us for our weekly volunteer work meet-up as we work on projects at the Parkland Community Center at 214 121 St S., happening on most Saturdays, from 10am to 3pm.
What you can do:
- Help our Facilities Team to install plaster, fixtures, and more from our list of current renovation projects
- The PCC Kitchenette
- The Family Promise of Puget Sound break room on the main floor
- The G15 and G17 suites for Jumping into Music on the main floor
- Basement breakdown in suite G13
- Help with interior upkeep of our well-loved Historic School Building and can include
- Painting walls
- Sorting and keeping inventory of donated items (furniture, decor, books, appliances, glassware, clothing, toys, books, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness in our common use areas like our entrance way, lobby, hallways, and in our gym
Make sure to come dressed comfortably, weather permitting - a hoodie, jeans, and close-toed shoes are recommended.
