Help fight hunger with Northwest Harvest at the 15th Annual KING5 Home Team Harvest event on Saturday, December 5! Our largest food drive of the year, Home Team Harvest takes place in five counties at ten locations, six of which are live KING5 sites. This year's goal: 5 million meals!
Hundreds of volunteers help make this event a success and volunteers are needed to serve as DONATION COLLECTORS at the Puyallup US Bank location. Donation Collectors hold signs and buckets to collect cash donations and help generate excitement about the event for shoppers.
Volunteers are needed for these shifts:
- 7am - 9am
- 9am - 11am
- 11am - 1pm
- 1pm - 3pm
Great event for individuals, families and groups. Youth are welcome at this event, but volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian volunteer alongside them (or have adult chaperones for a youth group). This event is outside, rain or shine.

All volunteers must be registered ahead of time. No drop in volunteering for this event. Northwest Harvest can sign off on service hours for work or school purposes, but cannot provide court-related community service.
Northwest Harvest is Washington’s own statewide hunger relief agency. Donations from this event help support Northwest Harvest's network of more than 380 food banks, meal programs, and high need schools.
