About the Event: The annual Gingerbread Jamboree features candy buffets, lots of frosting and gingerbread house decorating. While houses are being made so are family memories! For over 20 years, this event is a holiday tradition for many generations of Puget Sound families. The event is held at the Murano Hotel's Bicentennial Pavilion in downtown Tacoma on November 25th and November 26th

Prep Workshops at the Murano Hotel Bicentennial Pavilion
We need assistance loading-in and unpacking supplies, organizing and sorting the candy, decorating and the main event… assembling the Gingerbread houses!

Volunteer application for prep workshop is not necessary for the whole group but confirmation is necessary. Please let me know if you can get a group together and how many in the group (The more the merrier).
At the Children's Museum of Tacoma we want to ensure that every child and family can come play, so we offer Pay As You Will admission. This is why we rely on volunteer support. Eliminating cost barriers means the Museum has a greater capacity to reach more families, engage more children in playful learning and support more parents.
