Join us at the Nisqually Land Trust's Lackamas Flats protected area for a morning of pulling invasive ivy!
As a ground cover, English ivy harms native plants by forming a dense "ivy desert" where other plants can't grow. It can also climb and strangle native trees. By controlling the invasive ivy at Lackamas Flats, we can help to re-establish healthy forest in this area of the Nisqually floodplain!
