Restore Habitat at the Place of Circling Waters!

Description

Join us for a planting party at the Port of Tacoma’s Place of Circling Waters! This unique location, which boasts an intertidal marsh, the salmon bearing Hylebos Creek, and forested open space, serves a vital role in the health of many of our beloved Pacific Northwest species, including birds, salmon, and our resident orcas. This ecological gem has been reclaimed from a former mining site, and you can be part of restoring this important habitat by planting native species!

Everyone can help! All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. We provide all of the tools and training needed. So bring along your friends and family and get your hands dirty!
