YOUTH
Volunteers under the age of 18 may serve by helping with early preparations either in the office or at Camp
prior to families’ arrival:
Pre-camp
Hold a drive to collect items for welcome baskets (stickers, crayons, travel sized shampoos or
lotions, hair ties, Kleenex, etc) for 60 families.
Organize a bake-sale, carwash, service day or other project to send a REACH child to camp ($750).
Assemble medical baggies, lanyards or handbooks for volunteers.
Help sort camp storage items and/or transfer them to camp.
Set-up Thursday morning of Camp
Form a team to setup cabins, distributing water and welcome items.
Clean-up Monday, Labor Day
Help clean and collect items from cabins and transport back to Tacoma
ADULTS
Volunteers 18 years and older may serve as REACH Camp Counselors or Rovers, changing a child’s life.
Counselors
Serve 4-6 days at Camp.
Application, Tb test and summer training required.
Rovers
Serve in 4 hour shifts during Camp helping with logistics and important support tasks.
Application, Tb test and summer training required.
Other service opportunities for Camp:
Pre-Camp
Serve on an Advisory Team assisting with procurement
Approach businesses for in-kind donations or sponsorships.
Hold a drive to collect items for welcome baskets for 60 families.
Organize a bake sale, car wash, service day or other projects.
Partner with REACH by sending a child to Camp ($750)
Assemble medical baggies, lanyards or handbooks for volunteers.

Transport families to and from camp, from their homes or airports.
