Volunteers are needed at the 8th Annual Pioneer Days Festival on Saturday, 9/16/17.
Choose at least one of the following shifts:
- 9:30am-12noon, Help set up tables, chairs, tents and supplies
- 12pm-4pm, Demonstrate pioneer crafts, arts and games for kids and families (arrive by 11am for instructions)
- 3:30pm-5pm, Clean up crew
Pioneer Days is a free event for children and their families. We expect over 300 attendees depending on weather. Participants can experience pioneer life for an afternoon with a variety of old-time crafts, games, demonstrations and folk music. Learn more at http://www.jobcarrmuseum.org/.
No experience necessary.
Demonstrations may include folk art, quilting, sewing, weaving, spinning, woodworking, and pioneer games. If you have a talent to share, please let us know.
