Spring Showers Bring May Flowers!

It’s been a rainy spring, and Parkland Prairie is in full bloom! Join Pitch in for Parks, Pierce County Parks & Recreation’s drop-in volunteer program, on Saturday, May 13^th from 10:00am until noon. We’ll be able to admire the wildflowers planted by Pitch in for Parks volunteers last October while preparing the site for summer by inspecting our new tree and shrub seedlings and performing site maintenance. This is a great opportunity for all ages and abilities (ages 15 & under with guardian) to pitch in and help the community. Tools will be available for use and a snack and water will be provided. Join us rain or shine with appropriate clothing for the weather and work gloves.
